HOW IT
BEGAN
Alyssa and I first started getting to know each other by creating sale ads together. We met at Iowa State through Block & Bridle, and our friendship quickly grew on the foundation of working together. Somewhere along the way of collaborating on many different projects, she finally got the hint, and we've been dating ever since.

After graduation, we knew longterm we'd love to build a business together. Little did we know, God had that in the cards for us a lot sooner than we expected. In May of 2022 we purchased our first two foundation females, knowing they were the maternal base we wanted to build from. A year later, after lots of prayer and planning, Regal Cattle was officially launched.
​
Alongside of operating this business in Kansas, I also enjoy working as an embryologist for Vytelle, a precision livestock company reshaping how cattle producers worldwide optimize their herds through IVF.
​
Alyssa currently resides in Fort Worth, Texas where she owns and operates Sweet Briar Creative, an agency that specializes in videography and graphic design for agricultural clients all over the world.
​
Although a bit untraditional, we believe our combined skillsets allows us to provide unique value to our customers.
ALL ABOUT
DANIEL
Not many people know this, but Daniel is kind of a dairy kid at heart. He started showing dairy cattle pretty much as soon as he could hold a halter in his hand. Influenced by his mom & grandparent’s love for the dairy industry, it was a natural fit for him.
​
From what I’ve heard, it didn’t take long for little Daniel to watch the beef show at their county fair, & figure out that was the game he wanted to play. I don’t think he’s loved anything more since.
​
We thought it’d be fun to each write a little introduction about each other. I get the easy job out of that deal - it’s not hard to describe Daniel.
​
Anyone who encounters him will quickly feel his kindness, attentiveness & strong passion for the cattle industry. I will be forever grateful to lean on his knowledge of nutrition, repro, genetics & overall cattle management. His mind is an asset that Regal & our customers will benefit from for years to come.
​
It’s been fun to watch Daniel and his brother Clayton build and grow Walsh Cattle from their childhood years into a brand that’s well respected all over the country. We are looking forward to supporting and cheering on Clayton and his family through the transition of him fully pursing that endeavor in Wisconsin.
​
So although I like to tease him a bit for his dairy beginnings, his background truly shaped him into the individual & business partner that I know and love today.
ALL ABOUT
ALYSSA
This always seems to surprise quite a few people due to her immense passion for the industry, but Alyssa didn’t grow up on a cattle operation, and is actually a generation removed from agriculture.
​
However, from what I’ve been told you could easily witness her love for animals at a young age. She always loved visiting her grandparents’ farm in Nebraska, and was the first to volunteer to go with her grandpa & do pasture checks.
​
Alyssa’s introduction to showing livestock was actually through her high school Ag teachers. They too witnessed her love for animals, and fueled that passion however they could!
​
The Muscatine, Iowa FFA chapter is extremely blessed to have a show barn/Ag center where students can house their livestock year round! She reminisces about this quite often, being able to work on her livestock projects surrounded by like-minded friends which created the perfect environment - full of support and competition.
​
When describing Alyssa there are a few things that come to mind right away - love, drive, and consistency.
She has the innate ability to make anyone around her feel immensely loved immediately, even upon first meeting.
​
All of these characteristics make up the person that I have loved working with since our very first project. Who would’ve known that persuading her to help on an ad in college would result in a business partner for life.
